Grolsch, the premium Dutch beer, commissioned design agency Coley Porter Bell to create an environment that reflects Grolschs’ creative and independent spirit.

Coley Porter Bell, in collaboration with spatial specialist Rotem Sachar, have designed a sleek Airstream with an entirely magnetic interior, one that truly reflects a modern environment. Employing the power of magnets to create a variable, modular environment, guests are invited to reconfigure the interior so that it best reflects their true character.

Each element inside the contemporary Airstream – from the lights and shelving, to the curtains, headboard and clothes hangars – can be repositioned so that no two nights need ever be the same in the Grolsch Airstream.

The sophisticated design aesthetic celebrates and appreciates its context; both the Airstream itself and the surrounding natural Elgin landscape. Innovative elements include a 360 degree magnetic puzzle and a magnetic clock which tells time through the movement of iron fillings.
