The Barn restaurant at Old Mac Daddy is a real hub of fun.
Functioning as our communal dining area and events space, the Barn is where countless guests have enjoyed many a happy meal.
It's also where joyous wedding parties have danced under the magical Elgin night sky; and where a host of other enjoyable events (like our weekly spitbraai buffets) bring people together over good food, the best local wines and craft beer and just an all-round awesome vibe.

The Barn's core ethos centres around serving delicious food using only the freshest, locally sourced and organic (where possible) ingredients.
In our quest to continually improve on our service, the Barn has recently introduced a variety of plant-based menu items to cater for all our vegetarian and vegan guests.
Some of our favourites from the newbies on the menu include the Moroccan Chickpea Curry, a Red Bean and Butternut Soup and, of course, the all-time favourite Veggie Burger.

The Barn is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's also the weekly spitbraai buffet that takes place every Sunday afternoon. Outside guests welcome!
