In honour of National Women's Day and as part of the Elgin Winter Festival celebrations hosted by Experience Elgin Old Mac Daddy is hosting a 3-course festive dinner
on Friday 9th August.
Diners are invited to select from one of 3 set menus with an abundance of fine local wines available to order.
Cost for the 3-course meal is R340 per person. And outside guests are most welcome!
Available wines are provided by our neighbours, such as those at Elgin Ridge Wines, a winery here in our beautiful Elgin valley home that produces the highest quality organic, biodynamic wines.. We're not just saying this because we have to, but if you haven't sampled their vino you're in for a serious treat. They're seriously good 👌
We'll also enjoy some live entertainment on the evening thanks to talented local musician, Gerhard.

Starter
Smoked marrow bones served with a brandy-infused garlic butter sauce and freshly baked ciabatta bread
Main
200g Beef fillet served with rosemary-infused potatoes and red wine jus
Dessert
Strawberry and blueberry pavlova tower served with vanilla ice cream

Grilled Halloumi cheese served on a bed of rocket, baby tomatoes and olives with a balsamic reduction dressing
Main
Grilled cauliflower steaks served with a butternut puree and sun-dried tomato pesto

Home made coconut ice cream

Spicy Prawn and Chorizo tagliatelle pasta with a rich basil and tomato sauce

Parmesan crusted baked Butterfish served with roast seasonal vegetables and lemon butter sauce
